The DAV Way

The DAV Way is our practical, step-by-step approach for working with clients from first contact through to the completion of our assignment. It describes the four stage process: Assess, Plan, Execute and Handover.

Assess: Our first priority is to consider any assignment in the context of your business objectives and the outcomes you are seeking to achieve. As part of this we'll get to grips with and help you assess what this means in terms of personal and team responsibilities. Finally we'll present the options that exist for achieving your end-result.

Plan: We'll then help you plan (or re-plan) your optimum course of action based upon the agreed way forward. This will be comprehensive and embrace the fundamentals of good industry practice, including how to drive the behaviour (internal and external) that will deliver the result you desire, what to do if things go wrong, and being clear about the business return you require and how this will be realised.

Execute: Our responsibilities here are determined by the results of the Assessment and Planning work, together with the mix and capability of your existing team. We can undertake lead or key supporting roles embracing critical activities from any point in the lifecycle of your business initiative. Personal ownership is implicit in this approach. A hallmark of DAV people is their willingness to roll up their sleeves and make things happen and their readiness to take responsibility that stems from confidence and deep experience.

Handover: Working with you and your team on a day-to-day basis provides an excellent environment within which to coach, mentor and transfer knowledge. By involving and empowering people we are also able to ensure that the positive impact of our work is becomes embedded into your organisation. We will work to ensure that members of your team are developed to succeed our management and leadership positions and are equipped to maintain the working relationships created with suppliers and other parties. This builds to the point where we handover to your team, ensuring that the eventual transfer of ownership and responsibility is seamless.
